Redwood SAP System Copy module saves up to 90% in system copy overhead

Redwood Software, February 1, 2010

Redwood Software today announced the immediate availability of the Redwood SAP System Copy module, driven by SAP Central Process Scheduling and designed to deliver unmatched process automation, reliability and speed in cloning SAP environments. The Redwood module is the only offering available that is developed jointly with the SAP System Copy roadmap - to ensure customers are guaranteed to future proof their investment.

Taking advantage of SAP Central Process Scheduling automation capabilities and tight integration with SAP environments, the self contained module requires no third-party hardware of software and integrates with any existing infrastructure including heterogeneous environments to provide a true end-to-end copy automation solution - including management of the many pre- and post copy tasks as well as license implementations.

“We are excited to offer this solution for SAP customers” said Dennis Walsh, Senior Executive Vice President Redwood: “The Redwood System Copy module allows customers to save between 70-90 percent in time and overhead and provides the most comprehensive system copy solution available.”

For those customers that already own SAP Central Process Scheduling, the SAP System Copy automation delivers additional capabilities to further enhance enterprise automation and for those customers considering the use of SAP Central Process Scheduling for the first time, they are assured their automation investment keeps pace with future updates and enhancements of the SAP application environment.
