Grainger has selected SAP Central Process Scheduling - from SAP to manage the dependencies of SAP NetWeaver BI and APO on the successful execution of jobs in SAP and non-SAP systems.
The implementation is part of the overall ESA strategy at Grainger in which they are deploying SAP NetWeaver across the organization covering 500 plus branches, and addressing the major challenges of adapting business practices to fulfil GAAP requirements, streamline operations, and control complex inter-process dependencies.
The project has been carried out using a Big Bang™ approach and includes the deployment of SAP Central Process Scheduling.
