Job Purpose
As a member of the Cronacle Development team and reporting directly to the VP of Development, the Senior Web Developer is responsible for the design and implementation of new product functionality with a focus on the user interface. As a passionate UI Developer you will ensure that the product is easy to use, great to look at and delivers the best user experience possible. Cronacle is a modern three tier application incorporating a JEE central server that connects to agents, applications and other infrastructure technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement functionality for new features as proposed by the Product Management Team
- Work with the graphic design team to ensure that the product is easy to use, attractive and consistent
- Take ownership of the development process, taking ideas from concept to implementation using mock-ups, usability testing and customer feedback as appropriate
- Support and improve existing functionality of the product
- Provide technical mentorship to your colleagues
Skills and Experience
- Strong UI developer
- An intimate understanding of the browser
- Strong understanding of the server side of Java
- Experience in Web Development, Javascript, HTML, CSS and Java.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Preferably experience with Java desktop applications or applets
- Candidate must have the right to work in the Netherlands, or be a citizen of an EU member state
