Redwood Active Monitoring
Automatically detect and respond to real time changes before they impact your business with Redwood Active Monitoring for Cronacle and SAP Central Process Scheduling.
Flexible, Real-Time Response and Control
The Redwood Active Monitoring module addresses your most complex and demanding automated alerting needs, so you can dynamically respond – in real-time – to problems that could impact your business environment.
Active Monitoring uses Redwood’s event-driven process automation approach to automatically detect exceptions, raise alerts, and manage escalation across the environment. Configurable, reusable escalation rules determine alert recipients and escalation path.
Fully integrated into the Redwood process automation administration interface, Active Monitoring comprises a framework built around a number of reusable objects:
- Sources: Define the monitored environment.
- Alert Gateways: Determine how alerts are dispatched.
- Escalation Rules: Define how exceptions in the monitored environment are handled.
From job completion to managed environment status changes, Active Monitoring responds to events and employs pre-defined rules to determine actions and acknowledgement. Sources can be defined generically for the entire environment, or specific to workload situations, applications or departments.
